This week, while the 1% prepares to unveil their “Green” Economy at the Rio+20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, GGJ is mobilizing with social movements in Brazil and from around the world this week to converge in Rio for a People’s Summit.

We are a powerhouse delegation, with members from 12 organizations: Activist San Diego, Black Workers For Justice, Communities for a Better Environment, Community to Community Development, East Michigan Environmental Action Council—EMEAC, Jobs with Justice, The Labor/Community Strategy Center, Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, People Organized to Demand Environmental and Economic Rights—PODER, People Organized to Win Employment Rights—POWER, Portland Central America Solidarity Network—PCASC, and Southwest Workers Union
