Judith LeBlanc, United for Peace and Justice Presentation notes

Judith LeBlanc, Peace Action
Like being at the scene of an accident. Was not a peace activist before 9/11. Closest work was Cuba solidarity, went to Vietnam. 9/11 was a turning point. Helped bring UFPJ together. Was on steering committee and Co-chair. Lot of veterans in the family. Indians have highest percentage of population in armed services. Every community of color, poor and working class communities have stories of friends, family in war.

Rebuilding, renewing and recalibrating anti-war movement.

2001-2003 - Lot of new initiatives
