Anne White Hat is a member of the Sicangu band of the Lakota Nation. She is a direct descendant of Chief Hollow Horn Bear and the proud mother of three children, founding member of the Indigenous Women’s Advisory Council of the former L’eau Est La Vie – pipeline resistance camp, board member of the Native American Women’s Health Education and Resource Center, a new member of the Another Gulf is Possible collaborative and organizer of the newly founded Solidarity Medicine Making Collective in New Orleans.
White Hat Botanicals is her trade name featuring ‘community-determined’ botanicals and CBD remedies. Anne is a grant writer by trade, community organizer out of love for my people, jack of all trades by hustle and for over 20 years has been blessed to work with plants for you.
