The Youth Organizing Institute (YOI) is a popular education program centered on the lives and experiences of young people. We develop leadership skills through political and people’s history workshops. Our dynamic workshops include interdisciplinary visioning practices, discussions, presentations, hands-on and experiential learning as well as mentorship from movement elders. We cultivate peer to peer education, as participants step into leadership roles as organizers and facilitators in their own communities.
