*Nosotrxs, el pueblo de Venezuela, nos sumamos a la lucha del pueblo de EEUU contra el racismo y la represión del régimen de Trump*
Nosotrxs, el pueblo de Venezuela:
✔️ Manifestamos nuestro rotundo apoyo al pueblo de los EEUU, a esos millones que protestan contra el asesinato de George Floyd en manos de las fuerzas policiales del Estado.
✔️ Deploramos, como ustedes, este crimen atroz, que derramó el vaso de la tolerancia de un pueblo que está cansado de la represión racista.
Los últimos actos de protesta en EEUU, han dejado en evidencia el profundo carácter racista del Estado estadounidense. El gobierno supremacista de Donald Trump ha profundizado aún más este mal históricamente presente en la sociedad de norteamericana, y ante el asesinato de George Floyd no ha hecho más que avivar las llamas de la violencia contra las protestas de la población.
Sin embargo, no podemos olvidar que el racismo en EEUU es estructural, histórico y sistémico, lo cual quiere decir que republicanos, demócratas, corporaciones y medios masivos, han alimentado una sociedad donde el saqueo, la apropiación del trabajo y el despojo de todos los derechos de las comunidades afroamericanas, latinas, indígenas y migrantes ha sido la base de la acumulación capitalista de ese país.
El COVID – 19 puso en evidencia este modelo, que dejó sin garantía de atención a la salud a la mayor parte de la sociedad, en especial a los sectores vulnerables. La estadística revela que hay mayor cantidad de decesos en las zonas pobres con fuerte presencia latina y negra, e incluso en las zonas que no son pobres la mayor cantidad de contagiados y fallecidos provienen de estos sectores sociales.
✔️ Denunciamos que la respuesta del Gobierno de Donald Trump, frente a los millones de habitantes indignados ante a esta situación, es demostración de la voluntad de las élites que imponen una agenda racista y facista: desplegando fuerzas policiales y militares en las calles, decretando toques de queda, descalificando al pueblo que protesta, queriendo criminalizar a las organizaciones y colectivos que han empujado esta lucha – como la campaña del Black Lives Matter- o incluso queriendo decretar como terroristas a grupos civiles como el Movimiento Antifascista ANTIFA.
✔️ Condenamos lo que la OEA, la ONU, la Unión Europea y en general los países centrales capitalistas han callado de forma cómplice: el asesinato de George Floyd como un crimen de odio perpetrado desde el Estado de los EEUU, la represión policial y militar contra centenares de miles de manifestantes, la violación masiva de los derechos humanos e incluso el asesinato de algunos ciudadanos durante las protestas; sin olvidar el quebrantamiento del derecho democrático a la protesta, en nombre de la protección a la propiedad privada.
✔️ Declaramos nuestra solidaridad y nuestro compromiso con ese pueblo que hoy lucha en las calles. Sepan que su lucha es también la nuestra, contra el racismo, contra el facismo, contra el capitalismo. Pero, además, hoy nos une la lucha contra un mismo gobierno y un mismo Estado, el de los EEUU, que reprime y asesina a comunidades negras y latinas si no se dejan saquear y despojar de todo lo que el capital necesita para reproducirse de manera ampliada. Es el mismo Estado que declaró la guerra a los pueblos venezolano y cubano, que amenaza con invadirnos o con matarnos de hambre si no nos dejamos saquear para poder mantener su posición como potencia imperialista.
✔️ Por último, hacemos un reconocimiento a la valentía de ese pueblo que lucha por sus derechos en las calles, que alza su voz contra este sistema injusto para decir que ya fue suficiente, que pretenden asfixiarles como a George Floyd pero que no lo lograrán.
Ustedes juegan un rol central en la lucha contra los enemigos comunes de los pueblos del mundo, y nos llena de esperanza mirar a millones de jóvenes en las calles, la lucha nos da identidad, nos iguala en un proyecto por la liberación y la construcción de una sociedad justa y que ponga la vida por encima del capital.

We, the people of Venezuela, join the struggle of the American people against the racism and repression of the Trump regime.
✔️ We express our strong support for the people of the United States, for those millions who are protesting the murder of George Floyd in the hands of the state police force.
✔️ We deplore this atrocious crime, which was the last straw for a people that are tired of racist repression.
The recent acts of protest in the United States have exposed the profoundly racist character of the U.S. state. The supremacist government of Donald Trump has further deepened this evil historically present in U.S. society, and in response to the assassination of George Floyd it has only fanned the flames of violence against protestors.
However, we cannot forget that racism in the United States is structural, historical and systemic, which means that Republicans, Democrats, corporations and the mass media have fed a society where the plundering, exploitation of labor and the stripping of all rights from African-American, Latino, indigenous and migrant communities has been the basis of capitalist accumulation in that country.
COVID – 19 highlighted this model, which left most of society, especially the vulnerable sectors, without any guarantee of health care. The statistics reveal that there are more deaths in poor areas with a strong Latino and Black presence, and even in areas that are not poor, the greatest number of infected and dead people come from these social sectors.
✔ ️We denounce the response of Donald Trump’s government, which in the face of the outrage of millions of residents outraged by this situation has demonstrated the will of the elites to impose a racist and fascist agenda. We have seen deployment of police and military forces in the streets, curfews, attacks on the protesters, attempts to criminalize the organizations and collectives that have promoted this struggle – such as the Black Lives Matter campaign – or even civilian groups such as the Anti-Fascist Movement ANTIFA, decreeing them to be terrorists.
✔️ We condemn the silence of the OAS, the UN, the European Union and the principle capitalist countries, which makes them complicit in the murder of George Floyd – a hate crime perpetrated by the U.S. state, as well as the police and military repression against hundreds of thousands of demonstrators, the massive violation of human rights and even the murder of some citizens during the protests; not to mention the violation of the democratic right to protest, in the name of protecting private property.
✔️ We declare our solidarity and our commitment to these people who are fighting in the streets today. They must know that their struggle is also ours, against racism, against fascism, against capitalism. But, in addition, today we are united in our struggle against the same government and the same state, that of the United States, which represses and murders Black and Latino communities if they do not allow themselves to be plundered and stripped of all that capital needs to reproduce itself and expand its reach. It is the same state that declared war on the Venezuelan and Cuban peoples, that threatens to invade us or starve us if we do not allow ourselves to be plundered in order to maintain its position as an imperialist power.
✔️ Finally, we recognize the courage of these people who are fighting for their rights in the streets, who are raising their voices against this unfair system to say that enough is enough, that they are trying to choke them like George Floyd but that they will not succeed.
You play a central role in the struggle against the common enemies of the peoples of the world, and it fills us with hope to look at millions of young people in the streets, the struggle gives us identity, makes us equals in a project for liberation and the construction of a society that is just and puts life above capital.
